West Bengal’s Chief Minister-elect Suvendu Adhikari proclaimed Saturday as a landmark day for the state, marking the advent of a double-engine government. This occasion heralds the transition from decades of misrule to a promising era of peace and prosperity.

“A historic dawn for West Bengal indeed. It is a moment of profound pride and jubilation to welcome visionary leader PM Narendra Modi Ji to the City of Joy. Today, as we witness the swearing-in ceremony of the first-ever BJP government in West Bengal since independence, we fulfil the dreams of our founding fathers,” Adhikari expressed.

The new administration aims to implement policies focusing on development and stability. Adhikari emphasized the promise of an era where West Bengal will thrive, aiming for what he described as ‘Sonar Bangla’, a term signifying the vision of a prosperous Bengal.
